Windows Phone 7.8 update rollout in matter of weeks
The China should be the
first country to benefit from anticipated update to Windows Phone 7.8.Millions
of Windows Phone 7.5 users look forward to the improvements that the last
distribution took but rightly claim that their terminals, many of which are
still for sale, can update and have access to Live Tiles, Club, SmartGlass and
customizable Lock Screen.
The
rumor in recent days on a distribution upcoming update are today a confirmation
coming straight from the environments Microsoft , or by the Vice President of
Microsoft China has openly told the BJD newspaper of a roll-out scheduled
for December.
The release by the end of
2012 was a fact also planned initially, what strange is because the lack of
precise information by Microsoft, which has apparently pressed on the
accelerator of WP8 leaving a little aside this release. The source of this news
also reported that Nokia, Samsung, HTC and Huawei are preparing properly for the
launch which should begin from China.
Also comes further
confirmation, if any were needed, that the new year will open the doors to other
manufacturers such as ZTE and Lenovo. Arriving there are also about 40,000
applications developed by its Chinese and that will give a nice boost to the
Store Windows Phone inflating the overall numbers, hoping of course the quality
of the software.
So a few more weeks of
patience, December is upon us and Christmas is likely that all, or nearly so, we
can finally enjoy the new release 7.8.
