Microsoft Office apps for Nokia Symbian devices



Microsoft has made available its office applications to Nokia's Symbian Belle devices to enrich the comprehensive communication, collaboration, and manageability features of these devices.
With mobile Microsoft Office apps, you can get more done when you are on the go, connecting to core productivity services such as corporate email and collaboration and instant messaging (IM) tools.
Requiring no additional infrastructure investments, mobile Office apps offer enhanced flexibility to help provide business advantages to Symbian device users and significant value to existing Nokia business customers.
The available mobile Office apps are:
Microsoft Lync 2010 Mobile lets you have single and multi-party IM and federation with other IM services, view contacts with photos and up-to-date presence, quick access to contacts and search from Global Address Lookup, direct entry into audio meetings without passwords, outside voice support for cellular calls, support for Office 365 Lync users.
Microsoft OneNote Mobile can capture, create, read, and edit rich text, photos, videos, and audio files in one location from virtually anywhere.
Microsoft Word Mobile can create, edit, and do lot of things to documents.
The Office also has Microsoft Powerpoint Mobile and Microsoft Excel Mobile apps.
The apps can be used on Symbian Anna(with upgrade to Belle) devices - Nokia E7, Nokia X7, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-001, Nokia Oro, and Symbian Belle devices- Nokia 603, Nokia 700, Nokia 701
Nokia said the availability of the mobile Office apps for Nokia E6, Nokia N8 and Nokia 500 will be announced separately later.
